Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Type: Permanent and either full or part-time

Location: Flexible – Home-based with occasional meetings at the office

Salary: Minimum £25,000+ (final amount dependent on experience) with attractive annual pay increases based on performance. Workplace pension scheme provided.

Benefits: Reduced working week scheme (minimum 20-25 days leave) with option to work over 5 shorter days or 4 slightly longer days (pro-rata if you opt to work part-time). Office closed during Christmas period with no loss of leave.  Annual leave allowance increases per annum.  Additional benefits and schemes available.

Summary of the role:

Due to our continued growth and future plans we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our amazing team.  You would be reporting to the Managing Director and will play a key role in managing our financial arrangements. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation of year-end accounts, tax returns, staff payroll, expenses, monthly client invoicing, and reporting.  The successful candidate will possess a good understanding of all aspects of accounting.

Location and hours:

The role is home-based with regular meetings with the Managing Director, both in-person and remote, as agreed. A minimum expectation of being in the office at least 2 days per month, although you will have the option to work from the office more frequently if you prefer.
