The Product Development Module will transform the way you develop, launch, review and even withdraw various qualification products and in doing so, strengthen your internal control, transparency and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, supporting virtually any qualification type, assessment, and grading model.  

It supports the development of regulated and non-regulated products whether initiated in-house by your staff, apprenticeship industry trailblazers, or by your external customers who submit new product proposals for you to develop and approve to support their local delivery, employment and training needs..

Pre-loaded with a range of configurable forms and templates, it will help enforce your rules and workflows, and remove the need for multiple emails, Word documents and spreadsheets by bringing together all activities, evidence and decisions into one place.

For example, the Development Form will help demonstrate how you've followed your documented development procedures from the qualification's business case review, to the rationales and support received for its assessment, grading and delivery models and your associated reviews and sign-off of these arrangements.  As well as this, the form can detail the rationale for, and detail behind, the associated Centre Assessment Standards Scrutiny (CASS) strategy (mandated for regulated awarding organisations), and the rationale and sign-off for the qualification support materials and customer fees.

The product rules you assign and sign-off in this Module are automatically integrated and applied to other Modules within creatiogreen, removing data duplication and streamlining internal processes.

embedded Qualification design tool

A powerful qualification design tool is embedded into the forms, capable of supporting the development and update of any qualification product type.  

You can assign tasks to internal or external parties to create and review content, learning outcomes and assessment criteria and product structures from simple structures and achievement rules to the incredibly complicated with numerous pathways, or qualifications within qualifications or combination ordering or barring rules such as X has to be achieved before Y or if you chose A you cannot do B.

A powerful tool validation tool then checks your final product structure and reflects the intended design rules to provide your staff with peace of mind before the product is signed-off for "live" delivery. 

grading, awarding certification rules

The awarding and grading tools enable you to select from a variety of different grading models and set grade boundaries, models, resit rules, and stipulate how the assessments are to be undertaken such as internally assessed and externally moderated or via paper or online exams etc. 

As well as this, it can specify the awarding rules for individual components and products - with a wide range of options which can even take into account the assessment models and centre performance to automate and streamline arrangements.

Via these features you also specify the certification method - paper certificates, e-certificates or both - and how they are dispatched to your customers and learners.

DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATORY CASS AND RISK PROFILING RULES

If you offer regulated qualifications, the Module includes CASS templates which you configure to reflect your approach to meeting the CASS rules.  

This feature will prompt your staff to consider and address the rules per development or review, as well as set or update the risk profile for the qualification. 

With an easy to use, interactive CASS dashboard the Module will streamline and strengthen your CASS arrangements.

You can attach materials to your products and in doing so set their visibility and access rules for learners and customers - including publication windows.

To aid your CASS and overall product reviews you can effortlessly search and see the delivery profile for each product and related activities such as appeals, complaints or investigations etc to identify if aspects of the qualification's assessment, delivery or awarding model may have contributed to these events.  

Or, you can view all the feedback your customers submitted in relation to the qualification, as well as being able to review and sample quality assurance or moderation reports.
