What role do you have at Creatio?
As part of the Account Management team, I help clients get the most out of Creatio. Starting with understanding their processes during onboarding and configuration. I continue to support them when they’re up and running and need to meet changing business or regulatory requirements.
Favourite part of your job?
I enjoy helping clients discover features that make a real difference to their day-to-day roles and seeing the excitement when they realise the impact it can have on their team.
Tell us more about your background…
I’m originally from Belfast and moved to Newcastle in 2009 to study Politics and Sociology at Northumbria University. After graduating, I decided to stay and spent a few years working in customer service roles at Sky and the Student Loans Company.
In 2015, I moved to London and went on to work for awarding organisations and membership bodies, including the Chartered Quality Institute and the Royal Society for Public Health. I joined Creatio in 2021 and have been here ever since.
What energises you at work?
I enjoy working with colleagues on different projects, most recently the Learner Portal. As Creatio staff work remotely, it’s great when we all get together at our office on the river in Twickenham.
Interests outside of work?
I’m a big fan of live music and regularly go to gigs. I also try to go to Glastonbury whenever I can. I started learning Spanish a few years ago and have recently picked it back up. Like every other person currently, I decided it would be a good idea to start running. I’ve signed up for my first half marathon in my hometown of Belfast this September.
Tell us something interesting…
As a small child I loved sci fi shows like Babylon 5 and Star Trek. Thanks to my dad, I was raised on everything from The Lord of the Rings to Battlestar Galactica.
As you know, Alan (Founder & Managing Director) loves Star Wars but how do you feel about the franchise?
I’m a fan. The originals are obviously the best! I did enjoy some of the recent spin offs, particularly Rogue One.
And Spurs?…Alan and therefore Creatio are supporters…are you a fan?
At work I would have to say yes. I’ve been to many a Spurs game now and genuinely really enjoy the atmosphere and the stadium. At home I can’t say this though! It would have to be Chelsea.
Lastly, your current go-to podcasts / movies / TV shows / books / albums etc?
I listen to a lot of current affairs podcasts, but my favourites are comedy ones, like My Therapist Ghosted Me and Elis James and John Robins.
I’m heading to the cinema this week to see the Backrooms film, and next on my reading list is Patrick Radden Keefe’s latest book.
